April Showers

The comfort of home on an April afternoon when a passing shower makes it just dark enough to turn on a lamp.  In this painting, Andi uses a playful, looser style to evoke motion.  The lace curtains shimmer from both the outside and inside light.  The easy chair feels as if it will embrace you when you sit down.  The tulips, as tulips tend to do, go every which way, telling us to enjoy the moment.
